Sihtak ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application ("App").

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address or phone number, and password (stored securely using industry-standard hashing).

Health Information: You may voluntarily provide health data including lab results, medications, medical conditions, and family member health records. This information is stored securely and only accessible to you.

Device Information: We collect device type, operating system version, and app version for diagnostic and compatibility purposes.

Usage Data: We collect anonymized usage analytics to improve the App experience, such as feature usage frequency and crash reports.

Camera & Photos: If you use the lab scanner feature, we access your camera or photo library solely to capture and process lab reports. Images are processed and not stored beyond the analysis.

Location: If you use the lab directory feature, we may access your location to show nearby laboratories. Location data is used in real-time and not stored.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain the App's features and services
  • To process and display your health data within the App
  • To provide AI-powered health guidance (educational purposes only)
  • To send you important notifications about your health data
  • To improve the App through anonymized analytics
  • To provide customer support

3. AI Health Chat

Our AI Health Chat feature uses third-party AI services (Anthropic Claude) to provide health-related guidance. Messages you send to the AI chat are processed to generate responses. We do not use your chat messages to train AI models. The AI provides educational information only and does not constitute medical advice.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal health information to third parties. We may share data only in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers: We use cloud infrastructure providers (Microsoft Azure) to host our services securely.
  • AI Processing: Chat messages are sent to Anthropic for AI response generation, subject to their privacy policy.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid legal processes.
  • Your Consent: We may share information with your explicit consent (e.g., sharing health passport with a doctor).

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

  • Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
  • Secure password hashing (bcrypt)
  • Encrypted data storage on secure cloud infrastructure
  • Optional biometric authentication (Face ID / Touch ID)
  • Regular security audits

6. Data Retention

Your health data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete individual records at any time through the App. If you delete your account, all associated data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data stored in the App
  • Export your health data (via Health Passport feature)
  • Delete your account and all associated data
  • Correct any inaccurate information
  • Opt out of non-essential communications

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Family member profiles are managed by the account holder (parent/guardian).

9. Third-Party Services

The App may integrate with third-party services:

  • Apple Sign-In / Google Sign-In: For authentication
  • RevenueCat: For subscription management
  • Anthropic: For AI chat functionality

Each third-party service is subject to its own privacy policy.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
